Imperial/ TR Feldgendarmerie Gorgets
Thought it might be of interest to show a comparison of the constructions.
(Before the war the Imperial Gorgets had a silvered, polished finish with the eagles and details gilded. This was changed to grey painted steel during the war)

Note that the prong for the loose end of the chain is on the face of the Imperial Gorget, not the reverse.
