hi im new to this site and glad i found it,i was looking around a shop that i visit weekly its a antique come junk shop and ive found bayonets in there before, today i went and found a k98 bayonet with the following markings, clemen & jung on one side of the blade and on the other 111 with another 1 written underneath, various waffen marks, bakerlite grips,a small amount of pitting on the pommel press stud working,38 written on the spine, bluing remaining in the blood groove only but overall in fantastic shape, the scabbard has been repainted black a long time ago with 4876 and a 9 underneath on the reverse berg and co which is just readable a few light dents but the best bit is i bought it for £15.00 yes i know i i nearly fell over so bought it with no haste, this was a far cry from the military odessey i went to on saturday, the prices were outragous for a bayonet that was in rank condition glad i held out,i needed one for my k98 rile(deact) i collect rifles and machine guns also bayonets i have 9 different fire arms and around 35 bayonets, hope i havent bored you too much lol.
Guys, thought you'd like to have a look. Regards, Hal
Could someone tell me about this Panzerkampf Abzeichen and Infanterie Sturmabzeichen? They are inherited items and I would like to know who the makers are. Thanks in advance Sorry my camera *****!
Some of you have probably seen this M1/72 499/42 eagle on PvL's site.
I'm happy to tell you that Peter and I have made a deal, so
this little bird will soon have a new home.
Quite common to find in unused condition but very rare in used.
I will post better photos of it when it has arrived.
New guy here. What is the difference between a Soldbuch
and a Wehrpas? I have a Wehrpas and it seems quite
detailed. Soldier was from Regt. 755 which is part of the
334 infantrie division.
Tks,
Bob
Hello ,
I have this Flashlight in my collection and it was sold to me as a later war ( late 1944 -45 ) Klienkampfmittlel or K-verband flashlight . This was also used by the luftwaffe , as I was told . This is a stamped sheetmetal tube with a brittle plastic dome lens . It is water proff and floats straight up in the water so the light acts as a beacon .
I was told that this was used by the linze or explosive boat K-men . This flashlight is painted a Luftwaffe grey/blue . I know the explosive boat men did use Luftwaffe para helmets still sporting the Luftwaffe eagle etc. and even used a Luftwaffe wrist compass .
I enclose some pictures that look like my flashlight , but I am asking my fellow posters to ask is this a post war flashlight ? Opinions are welcome !
I was wondering what kind of tank this is. Anybody know? Thanks!
