Interesting Saipan tag
Here is an interesting tag I picked up relatively recently. Id’d to the 43rd Division which was on Saipan, but I do not have it with me to find out the exact unit, I only have these pics.

Type 14 2nd Series to Share
I recently acquired a nice Type 14 2nd Series. All matching except for magazine as shown. Broken firing pin that is numbered to the gun. The grip panels are numbered but the one is strange. Any opinions are appreciated. The second question is put a replacement firing pin in or have it repaired??? Thank you for looking.

I have been offered these as "Original", My question is the band underneath.. How was this to even attempt to stay in place ? I have done some research.. It seems to be Oberarbeitstfuhrer but the pips do not match color wise amongst the two and the sewn in ? Any help appreciated G
