I need some opinion from members better versed in these than myself.
I am not a helmet collector but do take an interest in all things in the hobby and I have long wanted to add one of these as "background" as it were to my Third Reich badges and medals.
I have considered the helmet pictured here but though I have an opinion I am just in need of some advanced knowledge from helmet specialists.
These are the dealers pics but I don’t know much about him so I can’t make a judgement as to reliability.
The price is about right for such a helmet but I have reservations.
All opinion / advice is much appreciated.
Regards
Mark

I came across this Japanese type document the other day and I cant figure it out what it might be.
I was wondering if anyone knows what it is and could translate it.
It measures about 18×30 and the paper is fragile.
Thank you very much for your time and your help
Tony

Apologies if this has been answered before via another thread. I have a pretty bare slouch with green eyelets. I’m just wondering if that is a WW2 production trait. The pug is missing as is the liner and chin strap. The brim has an covered edge. There is no push button stud - clip only.
And an unrelated question - did CARR provide studs for WW1 slouches as well as WW2?
