A friend of mine sold me this uniform knowing I like Japanese items. I have never seen this pattern of what I can only assume is a work uniform. It’s made from white cotton duct material and has green painted metal buttons. The one interior pocket closes with a button made from coconut shell. The pants have matching coconut buttons and are stamped with a 1942 Showa date. I would greatly appreciate any help identifying this uniform.

Hi guys, after a bit of help with this one, it looks like a (converted) MKII holster, but it is really small, far too small for a .38 enfield.

any thoughts?

i wondered if altered for a private purchase pistol??

I personally think that this Summer tunic metal breast eagle is a fake. But I saw some breast eagles with similar hardware.
So I’m not 100% sure, what do you think?
