The ratisbon’s site has a set of photo albums belonging to a member of the LAH. It is certainly worth a look. Notice the flag behind the bunk. There are hundreds of photos in this collection that seem to span 1933 to 1940. I hope the other members enjoy the images. Best wishes.

The Rommel’s goggles thread got me to thinking of other situations in which goggles were worn with soft headgear.
It seems that they were worn out of necessity some of the time, but were also worn as a fashion statement.

Can anyone provide anymore info about the plane or who the pilot was.

Hi folks, The administrative side of the Wehrmacht is not covered much in forums. But there were many behind the scene "pencil pushers" keeping things organized. I was looking for an appropriate period typewriter to fill out a living history impression. There were those who had doubts about the age of this typewriter but the period photo with a GJ administrator should dispel any doubts. According to the Typewriter Database (typewriterdatabase.com), this is a 1936 Model 6. It is great to find a proper period Schreibmaschine verified by a database and photo. NH
