I am new to your forum and I do not speak German.
I have two German medals I am trying to identify. It would be great if someone could translate them for me!
I tried taking various photos of these medals, and the text is simply unreadable.
A 2400 DPI scan seems to have done the job, but the image is about 12MB.
The max size for a jpeg on this forum is 225kb, so I had to upload it in a zipped folder.
Please take the time to download the image and zoom in - I know this is a lot to ask, but I don’t know where else to go!
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

I am looking at this overseas cap and wondering a few things….
It is on a gun forum and the seller asked for a price check and was told: due to its size, 53, and cut that it is a female assistant to the Wehrmacht. Is this true? I won’t post my opinion of value but if true would it be much lower or higher in value to a males overseas cap?
Also my opinion is that the insignia may be restored at a later date due to the stitching. Am I way off there?
Thanks,
Hummel
