After going missing in the post for over three weeks, the Senninbari good luck flag I purchased finally arrived and I wanted to share it with you all!
I’m not a flag collector, but as soon as I saw it I knew it would look absolutely fantastic mounted in a frame on the wall. I’m ecstatic, could not be happier with it.
It’s made of cotton and the kanji read; "Presented to Mr. Yata (or Tanita) Kicihi, From the Shiga Prefecture Hino Elementary School Faculty and Students"
Something I will look after and admire for a long time. I hope you enjoy having a look too.
Hello, I am new to this site and have some questions about my what I believe to be my Model 1915 PreuBen jager zu Pferde Metalhelme. It is in pretty good condition I think but it is missing some parts. Mainly the crest on the front of the helm along with the chin strap. I have found some sites that sell reproduction crest but they are as i say "in the bright" meaning they are not the dulled grey oxidized fittings. If there is a place to get orginal fittings that are correct for this helm I would love to refit it with orginal fittings. But if not no worries! Also, this helm is a bit peculiar to me because in all but two pictures I have seen of this specific helm (same regiments and the like) the cockades are Red with a thin White ring on the right hand side as you are wearing it and Black with a thin White ring on the left as you are wearing it. But my helm is the reverse the red cockade is on the left as you are wearing it and the black is on the right. Is this special or just a mix up? I am affraid to try and correct it and move them and risk breaking them or something along those lines. I can post pictures if it can help. I am looking for any information and help that can be provided.
Many Thanks!

Picked this one up from eaby for only $7. I usually try to avoid denazified pieces, but the price was right. Its faint but I can read a Rs&s maker mark. What do you guys think?
I have a small collection of Hitler plaques, and would like to add to them. I came across this example, and am wondering if anyone can tell me whether it is a period piece. Thanks.
I just recently picked up this nice DAF lot that included an annual sports booklet, a stickpin and two small insignia. The Sportkarte is a nice leather bound booklet named to Otto Michel, born August 16, 1914 in Röttbach (Bavaria). He lived in Herzogenaurach and worked as an architectural draftsman. The document is dated May 19, 1939. It contains two stamps, I suppose for participation in specific sporting events. I don’t usually collect documents or paper items but I was really interested in the stickpin and it was sold as a lot.
Hello, I got this ribbon bar belonging to Bernhard Kloth and would like to do more research on him but I dont know any of his personal information. All I have are pictures of Him and his ribbon bar. Also the pictures of him that I have reference serveral times a place called "Lutzki" and Lutzki 1944" I just ask for some help to get started researching or anything anyone here could find on him. Also is there anyplace I can research other than Ancestry as I will use that but without his personal information any Bernhard Kloth could be him.

Recently purchased this Mauser 1914 for $220. Thought it was a good deal and went for it. The magazine goes in very tight however, it fires well. It looks like it might actually be for a Mauser HSc though. As always, any input is appreciated!
