Quite an old purchase of mine I don’t think I have posted before.

This is a pretty nice condition belt carrier for the MG34/42, I intend to phrase it like that since it’s not a magazine as such.

Only marking is DDF which stands for the manufacturer Lohmann-Werke AG of Bielefeld. At least this date allows us to know it’s at least post 1941 manufacturing.
This example i guess is one of the lucky ones not to be painted up post war by the Yugoslavians or Austrians!

I remember buying this for £45 two years ago which I thought was the going price for them back then. I was checking some dealers the other day for these and damn, Some dealers are wanting around €180 for these! I can’t tell if I was lucky back then or they really have sky rocketed in a price.
