Need help! Ka Bar USN & Boyt 42 Sheath

Hello Friends, It has been awhile since I have posted anything and my brother sent me these pictures today. Can anyone give us some help with this knife? It is in pretty decent shape and the sheath is really nice. I will be anxious to see what we can fine out.
