I stumbled upon this 10 liter water container. It is complete covered in some kind of very thick green paint.
I am wondering if it could somehow be some kind of rautarn? Would it be even possible to tell if it is wartime applied?
The color has worn off on the places you would expect to such as the bottom and corners of the lid and handle.
You can still see that the original brown color is beneath the green paint in some spots where the green came off.

I think it stands a chance but any help and opinions would be appreciated
