Fiber helmet pair help.
Hello everyone.
I picked up these two helmets and a unit box over the weekend. They aren’t related but were in the same antique shop.
I know the helmets are fiber helmets but they have zero markings and an odd vent hole pattern compared to others I have seen. One appears to have a tan paint covering and the other a cloth covering.
Both have "paper" liners and the cloth covered helmet also has a cotton, non adjustable chinstrap riveted to a vent hole.
Are these U.S. helmets or another ally? WW2 era or something modern?
