Need help! Deutsches Kreuz in Gold - Any good?

Hi collectors!

I don’t have any experience with DKiG and would really appreciate if some of you could help me determine whether this is an original piece or not? I haven’t closed the deal yet, awaiting an assesment by you guys! :)

So what do you think; is this an original period Steinhauer & Lück (fingers crossed)?
