M1898 Dress “Quillback”

I have a question in regard to the 1898 Dress “Quillback” sword bayonet (2 piece handle).

Is there a way to pinpoint an exact date on these dress model bayonets? The only stamp I see on the bayonet or the scabbard is the “WKC” knights head. No other stamps anywhere. Not much info that I can find on this piece. I know that this was only used with the dress uniform for looks… that’s it.

I recently purchased this bayonet and an Enfield 1907 bayonet/scabbard from this nice lady. Her husband recently passed away and she was clearing out things. She had no idea what these were or what they’re worth. I told her exactly what they were and to go on eBay under past auctions to gauge them by price. I don’t like taking advantage of anyone… and as you can see… they’re very clean and very good condition.
