Hi All - I took a look at the books and think this is an early original kepi from around 1932. The Saris headgear book (Vol III) states a leather button (instead of a silver or gilt button) was commonly used in the late 1920s and early 1930s. The interior lining looks correct to me. The exterior fabric is very soft and I haven’t seen it before. There is no tag nor trace of a tag. I appreciate any comments or observations you have! John
