Need help on 1916 P08 Luger….S-coupling link
Hello,
my name is sammy and a "rookie" with P08 luger.
I bought 1916 P08 and disassemble to clean & inspect…that was OK.
When I reassembled P08, I had slide upside down with "S-coupling link" flat & pointing to rear of slide….then I applied frame-to-slide and moved slide to mate with frame (upside down…slide at 6 o’clock).
The next thing I realized (after I turned P08 slide to 12 o’clock) was that both frame & slide "locked" together and cannot move slide et al.
I know "S-coupling link" is NOT connected properly to recoil lever because I planned to do this step after mating slide-to-frame….but I probably moved slide too much & now slide & frame are locked together….a rookie error !
I posted 5 pics to show what I have now.

I need a veteran coach now and help to get me home….before I break P08.
Since I’m new (to forum) and rookie, appreciate your help and request email (in case I miss your posting on forum et al) to - moon22541@yahoo.com.
thanks….Sammy
