Evening gents,
A question popped up during conversation concerning the liner dates in MKIII "turtle" helmets. Were "old stock" liners ever installed or were they always fitted with 43/44 or 45 dated liners and was it true that soldiers were asked to use liners from their MKII helmets as the MKIII’s sometimes came with no liner installed to the units???
