Much like the Artillerie visor I posted, this TSD cap is also an eReL and (regrettably) has mothing to the cap band. The Truppensonderdienst was not created as a branch until an order of 22 April of 1944, to be effective 1 May 1944. It was a new administrative branch for high grade career and elevated career grade of the Intendanturdienst and non-technical administrative branch of officials.

Unfortunately parts of the foil forming the eReL logo have detached over the years and fallen inside the sweat shield.
Stabszahlmeister (Captain/Hauptmann equivalent) Kassel evidently worked at the Army provisioning main office in Braunschweig. The cap is a huge size, about a 61…maybe even 62. :shok_yikes:
