I’m Chris. I had a great uncle who was a Sergeant Major in the Polish Army in WW1 and have stuff from him and this site has given me some insight. Unfortunately, much of the things that refer to him are in Polish and that is something I was never taught. No one is still around that would know anything about him. I have a bunch of his medals that seem like a lot of others on this site, and matching them up is interesting. The only thing that I definitely know of him was that he was the National Commander of the Polish American Veterans Association (PAVA) for many years. Here is a picture of him at a parade for Gen.
