Sturtruppe Badge
The latest addition to my TK theme collection is this Austrian Sturmtruppe badge. I am aware of the myriad of fakes, replicas and outright fantasy Sturmtruppe badges being sold everywhere but I believe this a nice original piece. It is a zinc hollow back stamped piece with a simple pin and catch. It has a maker mark from Vienna. The patina and wear seem appropriate with no signs of artificial aging and the source is an extremely reputable dealer. I think it will fit in nicely with my other Imperial and Weimar era Totenkopfs. I welcome all opinions and thoughts.
