Question Nahkampfspange Maker Mark JFS

I have been looking for a Nahkampfspange and came across this example on line. The area around the hinge base I could not match up to good examples. I also noticed that the maker mark is on the reverse side of good examples. The tabs that keep the center plate in place look ok. Is this just a variant or a very good repro?
