Yesterday, I had the honor to view an amazing collection of German and Russian items. 5 rooms of really nice items. A hat/helmet room all TR German. Party, Heer, Kreigs, Luft, NSKK. Next room was medals, ribbons, cuff titles and more. Stated that he is only missing two out of all the military medals issued. Absolutely amazing. The next room was Luft related, many complete manikins, tail section of a ME 109, control panels joystick and many accoutrements. There were also many autographed Luft items from the top Ace pilots along with photos. There were also quite a few items from Berchtesgaden. The last area was the Russian room. Again many manikins complete, awards arms and medals. Many came direct from trips to Russia smuggled home and friends that would send items.
It was an honor to witness and brings hope that very good items are still out there.
