Balsa wood P-38 Lightning
I just retuned home from an estate sale. While at the sale, I found this great old
partially built P-38 hanging in the garage. For $5 it was just too cool to pass on.

It’s old and it’s weathered and it’s dusty and IMO just has a great look about it.
The only problem is, It’s big. It has a 40 inch wing span and I don’t have any place
to display it. I suggested hanging it from the living room ceiling but my wife vetoed that
idea almost as fast as it came out of my mouth.
