I’m a French collector of WW2 panzer parts, so i’m not familiar with WW1 stuff. I need your opinion about this strange "frame" i found at the junkyard. Obviously it’s German WW1 (DRP) lot of markings, but what is the purpose of this ? looks like a shock absorber, was is for a back bag , I thought about something under the body armour plate ? any idea is welcome, Thanks
