Here’s a photo album you don’t come across every day. It’s an official album of the 1923/24 World Cruise of the Royal Navy Special Service Squadron. My grandfather at the time was an AB seaman on HMS Hood. The album it self is covered with blue brushed leather with 60 pages of photos documenting the cruise, which my grandfather told me was referred to by crew as the "world booze." Album dimensions 31×25cm.
Ships in the squadron included HM ships Hood, Repulse, Delhi, Danae, Dragon, Dauntless & HMAS Adelaide.
