RAF buttons made in India!!!?????

Hi all!!!
Picked these up in a big bowl of old buttons in the charity shop!!

One original RAF button made in Birmingham.. 17mm
And the rest …..Made in India!!! 4 x 22mm 2 x 17mm…the quality is very poor on the Indian made examples!!!!(see pic British left Indian right)
please can you tell me…..

Are these Wartime made/used???? or post war???
