Rosenthale 1944 Cup that appears to be a fake.?
Hello,
I bought a Rosenthale cup from fleabay and took a chance.
I am not familiar with WW2 German porcelain but the price was right.
I am particularly concerned about the date stamp.
I have done searches on this forum and the internet.
I can only find the Rosenthale Selb-Germany stamp on cup made after 1945 with the U.S Zone stamped underneath this logo.
Maybe they removed the Maria and U.S Zone and made this cup.
Also the 1944 date stamp looks huge.
I will try to attach a picture as this is basically my first post.
