Need help! help on what to look for when buying certificates to medal and badges

hi all,

not 100% sure if i am in the right section tried to find a post which mentioned this but with no luck

i am trying to find out when buying certificates for wound badge,kvk,iron cross ect what to look for to identify if the certificate is original and not a copy any help please lol
