This came today. It’s extremely heavy made out of crudely wielded thicker than normal steel. Insignia appears to be copper without any signs of paint or plating. It looks hollow backed & perhaps pressed. It’s a completely new insignia to me! The rivets are also unpainted copper with square heads! Photos will show exactly how crude the wielded seams are. There’s two stamped numbers on either side of interior rim seam on back. Liner is missing. All around an extremely strange/weird helmet shell that’s unique in many ways.
