My first Nahkampfspange in Bronze

Hi everyone,

I just took delivery today of my first Nahkampfspange in Bronze by A.G.M. u. K.
I was wondering if the magnetic backing plate is fairly typical of the clasp?
The only thing that I am a bit disappointed with is the hairline crack across the centre.
