I purchased this Luftwaffe Metal Breast Eagle in April 1983 from Collector’s Armoury, Inc., Alexandria, VA. The item was marked as "Luftwaffe Metal Breast Eagle W/hallmark. (Original "ASSMANN" marked). Not being an expert, I turned to the internet and found many versions of the Eagle, but nothing that matches this one exactly. The only marking I see is on the back: L/50.

Any information regarding this item would be greatly appreciated!
