LF leather cap and gloves - Gunther Fritsch

I acquired a box lot of books, leather flying cap, gloves and patches. There is no name on the cap or gloves but one of the books is signed by Gunther Fritsch. Was he a Luftwaffe pilot? Does anyone know anything about this fellow? I figure the stuff belonged to him, but I have not been able to find any information. Can anyone ID the patches? Thanks!
