Here’s a ww1 german m16/17 helmet I bought off a biker who painted it black and had a blue rag inserted into liner band, I used goof off graffiti remover to take off the black spray paint and here’s the helmet after, the first pics are how I received it and the after pics after removing the black paint and got to say its back to its former glory, still got a few spots to remove
