The popularity of a 3rd Reich edged weapon void of any Nazi era symbols per se’, has never seen such collector interest than the so called Luftwaffe - Forestry bayonet. We know of one manufacture Anton Wingen, as certainly being a firm that produced these cool desirable edged weapons. But no doubt there may have been others too.

A year ago we had one example which was probably taken directly from the edged weapon firm / distributor, void of a single stamp what so ever. This likely points to the fact that they were most likely struck at the distributor, prior to being sold to soldiers qualified to carry these bayonets. In most cases from what I’ve seen, that was Waffen Loesch.

These bayonets came with attractive stag plates for the hilt, gorgeous plated blades, and brown leather frogs with slight manufacture construction variations. Here’s a sampling of a few.
