I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the below piece.

I have only just started collecting and would like to confirm it’s authenticity, and would appreciate it if anyone could point me in the right direction as to where I can find some specific information about this particular pattern.

Incidentally, if someone would have the time to do so, I also have an Iron Cross (Second class) and Gold Mother’s Cross if someone would be happy to verify them. I’m very cautious given the amount of forgeries available! The iron cross appears to have the number ‘65’ written on the joining ring.

Hi all,

Apologies for a second post, but I’ve taken a few more photos in better lighting to try and show the details of the whole unit, particularly the scabbard.

Any additional advice would be greatly appreciated, as I have the option to return the dagger to the dealer in question if I am not happy.
