M16 and M18 Shells Reissued to 1940 Specs
Here are 4 pretty good examples of WWI shells used during WWII - reissued to the WH during the War to 1940 specs. The first 2 are standard shells, but the maker stamps are covered in paint. I don’t know if we know who made the M18 ventless shells and this one is unmarked. All three of these are size 66. The final piece is an ECO, obviously an ET64. If anyone has the time and inclination, please add more "reissues" to this thread. Jim G.
