Family Sword
Just looking for the makers of this sword.
I believe it’s a 1827 Pattern Rifle Regiment Officers Sword.
Issued to the Sydney Mines Volunteers in 1850’s blade is misspelled with Sidney Volunteers. It’s always been in my family, I have his hat, some military books and his spyglass. I have put the hat on Loan to a local military museum.
