I got given this Iron Cross.
It’s missing the loop at the top, it got broken off years ago I was told.
I’m not really sure if it’s real or fake?
It’s two sided with 1914 on one side and 1813 on the other.
I compared it to another one I have that’s real and there are a few differences.
Maybe it’s the batch?
Did they used to fuse them back to back?
Why the 1813 and not 1870?
Is the 1813 a Knights Cross?
if it’s real, how do I tell if it’s 1st class or 2nd class?
