Ww2 SS enamel pin identification help

I am looking to buy a waffen ss enamel pin which has a skull and a W underneath it. I’ll try to attach the picture I’m looking to see if it is real and authentic from WW2 and what it means I have never seen one like this before. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
