Good Luck Flag and Lucky Charm Set
Fresh in today from a fair! The dealer got both the flag and charms with a group of British items from the family of a veteran who saw service in Burma (including his medals). They were the only Japanese items and are said to have been obtained together in Burma. The charms are frankly a bit scary! Am interested to get other people’s views on them.
Note that 3 charms have a fly on them, and 3 have a tiny dice inside - including the skull. They are wrapped in a black piece of rolled cloth tied with a ribbon, and have spent most of the last few decades that way I think.
