So yes, my Grandma and I found what I believe to be an old warhead from WW2 in a desert along our travels alome the western half of the US a few years back.
I forget what desert we found it in, but it has a partial inscription (which I googled)
It says "208 2" 25 rocket body MK.3"

I’m completely uninformed on this item and until just today, assumed it was just dense rock. My Grandma would have known more about it but she’s no longer around to ask.

Was it intended to be explosive?
It obviously has marks from a very hard and hot landing, could it have been a dud?
Should I have any concern about it being radioactive to any degree? It has been resting on my headboard for months.
Could it be worth any money? Most likely, I will let it sit in my mothers yard.
