Anniversary of 1st major KL liberation - Lublin-Majdanek
Today, 22nd July 2017, begins the marking of the 73rd anniversary of the first liberation of a major concentration camp. The camp, established at Lublin in occupied eastern Poland, was discovered by Soviet forces in July 1944, over the course of the 22nd/23rd.
