Hi, just photographed my proper combat used SS M42 in the "storage box" set up! I hope you can see the close up of the "gravel blast" or alike that has left a unique impact mark across the paint work. An un-marked chinstrap, but the band is dated 1943. Doug used to own "brothers" on either side of this one’s lot number. A completely un-messed with helmet since wars end. Leon.
