Evening gents, just spotted this fine looking 1940 dated Engineers helmet, all seems in order, a hand painted flash and standard sand texture tan over the "shiney" green. There is one small area of scratching to the flash that would worry me as artificial ageing, but as there is no other evidence of similar marking to the rest of the helmet I feel that it is just an "anomaly"? A nice helmet net "shadow" to it as well.
Anyway, as ever thoughts are appreciated, Leon.
