This bird just landed on my field and I show it here for reference and comment.

This one I suspect is a later production even though it is tombak rather than zinc because as can be seen it was made with the attatchment hooks for a pendant which were either removed by the original owner or have been lost to age.

The pics are pretty accurate but as with so many pieces it does look a lot better in hand.
