Sorry if this is the wrong section for this.

Long story short.

I inherited a few bits some years back and I’d forgotten about them until recently.

I never had the chance to ask my grandfather about his time in the army as he passed away many years ago and so did my grandmother.

All I really know is that when he came back from Germany to the UK, he brought some bits with him. According to my mother, he also brought back a German officers coat but my grandmother mistakenly through it out.

I’d be very happy if someone could tell me what I’ve got here as my knowledge on this stuff is pretty much non-existent.
