Hello, i need your help with clarifying topic of early german bread bags 1935-1939 made for Heer. I know they were made from grey cloth, had leather strenghtens on carrying straps and all metal parts were made from aluminium. But my question is about colour of the leathers. I found early bread bags with leathers painted on greenish colour (most of them) and early bread bags with naturally brown leather. There were no rules about colour of the leathers? Some opinions say that bread bags with greenish leathers were made for heer and those with naturally brown leathers were made for RAD or police - is that true? Or mayby brown leathers were also made for Heer?
