Wehrpaß, Kriegsmarine?
Bought this one last summer. Cheap, in a condition to match the price. The spine is badly frayed, and the back half of the pages are floating freely within the cover. All pages are present, though. Although it’s really not very well filled in.
It belonged to a Mr Konrad Held (Anglicized on the cover) a resident of Wentorf, Hamburg. He appears to have been issued the document in 1940, and was active fairly late in the war. There are mentions of Flak batteries, and an entry on page 26 that seems to reference the Kriegsmarine. A coastal defender on the Atlantic Wall, perhaps?
As ever, my poor grasp of period handwriting leaves me at a loss.
I’d be thankful on any clarification as to what exactly Konrad got up to during the war.

Much appreciated.
