One of my new visors. Not a super coveted one but in really nice shape. The eagle still has nearly all of it’s original frosting. No damage that I can find and no mothing A bit of trivia. The visor was manufactured on 21 June 1944 in Hamburg. This date is one day after 425 B-17’s bombed the oil refineries at Hamburg. Another reason I liked this one is that my Oma grew up just miles from Hamburg.

This is my first visor purchase in 33 years of collecting. The forum really helps as I did a lot of reading first and looking through threads. Visors is not my area of expertise as we can’t know it all. It helped to verify with the Visor Brain Trust before I made a deal.
