A sequel of sorts to my thread showing the Prussian Marshal’s Baton of the Austrian Emperor Franz Josef I (see http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/imperi…osef-i-598283/ ), here are two more Marshal’s Batons from Austrian Field Marshals.

Both are on display in the Austrian Army Museum in Vienna and are also shown in my separate thread on the museum (see http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/after-…museum-426389/ ), but I felt it would be appropriate to include them in this sub-forum as well.

Here they are; these are the batons of Archduke Friedrich von Österreich Tetschen (1856 - 1936), Supreme Commander of the Austro-Hungarian Army, promoted to Feldmarschall in 1914:

…and Franz Conrad von Hötzendorf (1852 - 1925), chief of the General Staff of Austria-Hungary, promoted to Feldmarschall in 1916:
